About Valda Oei

Having been volunteering at the local hospital, and been actively involved in nonprofit organization on campus, my ambition to bridge the gap between science and business sprouted. I want to leverage my neuroscience expertise and business experience to better serve the community. My previous experiences in both professional and school working environment uniquely qualifies me for this position. I acquired skills such as: • Leadership skills. Validated through events planning and team building occasions in club activities. Supervised club’s bank statement; oversaw budget and expenses; initiated novel ideations for upcoming affairs; took leads during operations • Highly adaptable. Learned to operate analytic instruments and perform data analysis rapidly, during a summer internship. Applied critical thinking skills in numerous occasions: examined results and composed unbiased reports. Enthusiastic and hardworking; often seek for mentorship to resolve solutions after an intricate experiment • Strong communication skills. Demonstrated through solving problem cooperatively with colleagues and teammates.
