About Valentin Duprat

Buyer at Airbus, specialized in supplier strategy, risk management, and supplier base optimization. Driven by a strong interest in competitiveness and purchasing performance, I have built my career around two complementary pillars: hands-on corporate experience and solid academic expertise. Currently, I work as a Buyer – ERP | Central Services & Operations at Airbus. My mission is to support the procurement strategy within the ERP scope, focusing on supplier base security and optimization, risk management, and strategic sourcing in a demanding international environment. Previously, my apprenticeship at Airbus gave me the opportunity to develop a broad view of the procurement function through diverse and impactful projects: from national sourcing strategies (printing & translation) to structuring tenders for production and infrastructure, as well as large-scale transversal projects with strong visibility. These experiences strengthened both my adaptability and my ability to address procurement challenges at both strategic and operational levels. Academically, I hold a Master’s degree in Purchasing Management from Toulouse School of Management (Université Toulouse Capitole), in partnership with B2M. This program allowed me to consolidate my expertise in strategic procurement, negotiation, supplier performance management, and responsible innovation.
