About Valentin Fleury

Java backend developer with 10 years of experience and technical lead. I am motivated by the creation and delivery of quality software that meet business requirements. I aspire to become a software craftsman which is why I use ATDD, TDD, clean architecture, peer programming and code review. In my opinion, automated testing plays a major role in software development. These are the notions I seek to convey to developers I supervise. Along with the technical aspect, understanding the product and the user's needs are at the heart of my approach. I worked as an analyst developer in various fields (car sector, retail and banking) which opened up my horizons. I particularly appreciate the use of BDD to achieve optimal communication between the different parties. Being a good communicator, I am able to work with the project stakeholders and to support the management. My excellent coaching and leadership skills, my openness and my kindness make me a successful and appreciated team player.
