I hold a PhD in public health and a master's degree in pharmacy from the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, and possess over thirteen years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. My career began with three years as a pharmacist, followed by a decade of expertise in pharmacovigilance across both clinical trials and marketed products. Since joining PPD in 2012 as a Drug Safety Specialist, I have advanced through progressively responsible roles, including Senior Safety Specialist, Principal Safety Specialist, Manager Pharmacovigilance, and Senior Manager Pharmacovigilance, culminating in my current position as Associate Director Pharmacovigilance since August 2018. My professional strengths include comprehensive knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations (GVP, GCP, ICH), project management, quality management, financial oversight, client relations, business growth, and staff development. I have significant therapeutic experience in areas such as oncology, rare diseases, the nervous system, digestive system, dermatology, hematology, and infectious and parasitic diseases.
