Background

About Valentina Facuse

I am an urban planner specializing in active transportation, with comprehensive experience across state, county, city, regional, and private sectors in the U.S. I have managed the planning, design, and maintenance of multimodal transportation projects, with a strong emphasis on equity, ADA accessibility, and creating healthy, connected, and sustainable communities. My work integrates strategic and long-range planning, program management, technical and spatial data analysis, and community engagement, ensuring projects are both innovative and inclusive. Born and raised in Chile, I am fluent in Spanish and English, bringing a multicultural perspective to every project and a deep understanding of diverse community needs. I thrive in project management, mentoring colleagues through both formal and informal guidance, and shaping initiatives that create meaningful improvements in people’s lives.
