About Valentyna Akulova

I specialize in both software development and UX design. My mission is to create simple, useful, and delightful solutions that help the users achieve their goals and the business to reach new horizons. My career as a software developer started 5 years ago where I went through the full development cycle working on small-to-large project from the ground-up to production. My stack is JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, and Node.js, and more. While working on the technical side of projects, I have discovered the world of UX design. In 2020, I started learning on my own and went through certification with Nielsen and Norman Group. I joined a community of startups at a local incubator in Regina, SK helping various businesses on their way to acquiring the funding. Since then, I am continuously leveraging my skills in both software development and UX design in my day-to-day work. Outside of work, I participate in hackathons and other community events, engage with software development and design professionals, and volunteer my time and skills to other projects.
