About Valeri Dobrev

I am a backend developer with two years of experience in blockchain. Things were not always so narrow. When I was in high school, I was learning Computer science. I wasn't sure what to focus on, so I tried different things: • Mobile app development • Website development • Desktop app development ‍When I graduated, I spent my first year concentrating on the university, but I wasn't satisfied. One day in May, I received a call from a startup company searching for people with any kind of experience. I decided to hop in and give it a try. Although, the technical stack differed from what I knew back then - Java, PHP, C/C++, MySQL. That is how I started my journey. Lately, my preferred stack is Typescript and MongoDB, but I also feel comfortable writing in Golang and Swift. 🤔 I am interested in Networking. I graduated from Cisco CCNA. I started working with Docker as a shipping platform, Docker compose, and Kubernetes as an orchestrator. ‍ I believe in imparting knowledge. In the last three years, I'm tutoring what I have learned. I was a teacher at a Private Programming school, and now I am teaching at the High school I graduated. My life is not only work. I love going out like every young man. I have a passion for cooking because it contains experimenting and eating. I also love to read books - fantasy, psychology, and business are my favorite topics.
