About Valeria Cecchini

My curiosity and desire to explore unknown areas taking new challenges, resulted in making me cover different roles over years, despite I spent almost my whole professional life in Accenture. As a result, I have developed strong transversal skills and I have worked with several interlocutors. At the beginning of my career I worked in the Consulting workforce, where I have been primarily focused on change management matters in complex projects. Then, I joined the Finance function within Accenture where, for some years, I've been part of Client Financial Management Team (focused on Management Control) and later, until today, of Country Controllership Team (focused on Administration Finance and Control of the legal entities part of Accenture Group). The international feature which characterizes Accenture gives me the opportunity to take part to several projects at global level which aim to transform and innovate Finance function. As a result I can challenge myself in a wider context and I'm recognized at global level where Italy is rarely represented. During my career, I had the chance to manage teams of people and dedicate my energy to contribute to people growth, as well as develop a good sensitivity on numbers and practice my logical and rational capabilities. I'm recognized to be a proactive and positive person, able to demonstrate the adequate level of resiliency to provide support and contribute to manage complex situations, also related to relevant organizational changes. In all my effort I'm powered by a great love for life, for my family and a huge passion for mountain trekking.
