About Valeria Hoffmann

I was born, raised, and educated in Caracas, Venezuela. Currently living in (and enjoying!) Split, Croatia, I am able to work in any European country. Am I a fan of international trade? You bet! I love to be in the middle of Imports & Exports! That's a language I understand, specially when it comes to negotiations that can lead to a great procurement experience. I have developed a passion for it. Tracking my cargo and making sure everything will arrive well and on time, gives me a great satisfaction. But I am also passionate about my artistic side. I draw and paint, and yes, I can do it very well, be it freehand or with my table, be it creating the scenario for a big international event, or just getting the right tone and shadow when drawing a flower. Every time, drawing is a fascinating adventure. You never really know where it's gonna end. What gives me focus? Running. I already have Bogotá, Caracas, and Split Half Marathons under my belt. Achieving them has implied minding my splits (no pun intended!), and keeping pace. Every race is a project, but also a lesson on how to live, how to eat, and how to care about myself. Of course, every training I do, is a small piece of a puzzle being assembled. And ultimately, it is also a amazing trip into uncharted territory. Who am I? I'm a woman, a daughter, a sister, a runner, a professional. What do I want? To make every step worthy of living. I want the comfort and satisfaction of doing a great job, of achieving the desired outcome in any endeavor I initiate. In the end, I want to grow every day, to be the best I can be.
