About Valero Marin

The energy sector is undergoing a profound transformation, which represents a great opportunity to reinvent itself and continue advancing to guarantee access to energy in a sustainable manner when and where it is needed, while also meeting society's expectations. I am part of the Repsol Executive Committee as executive managing director of Client, after previously performing the role of corporate director of Digitalization and Global Services. With the customer at the center of our strategy, we work every day to design quality multi-energy solutions, supported by technology and digitalization to do so in a customized, efficient, and sustainable manner. I’m proud to work alongside an expert and motivated team that has the energy transition and decarbonization present in every decision. Since December 2021, I have assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of IndesIA for the next three years. From this position and together with the other companies that are part of the association, we have the challenge of launching initiatives to position Spain as a benchmark in the use of data and artificial intelligence in the industrial sector, with the aim of placing our country as an international hub of reference in this field.
