VALERY WARNOTTE Après une formation en Histoire de l’art à l’Université de Louvain et à l’Ecole Florent à Paris Valéry Warnotte crée la compagnie l'Intervention. Il travaille avec l'auteur belge Olivier Coyette et débute son aventure aux USA, où il adapte et met en scène depuis 2006 Valère Novarina, Régis Jauffret et Pierre Notte. De 2007 à 2011, il porte à la scène le roman Microfictions de Régis Jauffret en collaboration avec Charlie Windelschmidt au Théâtre du Rond-Point pour la Nuit Blanche.De 2010 à 2012 il est artiste associé à la Filature Mulhouse avec DEREZO où ils créent le concept Les Habitants. De 2011 à 2014 Valéry Warnotte et DEREZO sont artistes associés au Volcan du Havre où ils créent des Fictions Urbaines, qu’ils développeront ensuite jusqu’en 2018 dans les villes de Brest, Nanterre, St Dié & Nantes. En février 2014 il a mis en scène The Animal of Time, adaptation du Discours aux Animaux de Valère Novarina en américain et Regarding The Just d’après Albert Camus au Trap Door de Chicago. En 2016, il joue dans La Tempête mis en scène par Charlie Windelschmidt après une résidence de création à Bali. En 2017, il crée Words to Animals de Novarina en américain et en arabe. En 2019, Il a joué dans la PPFFDM avec DEREZO et dans Alice, de l’Autre Côté, mis en scène par Charlie Windelschmidt. En 2020, Il rejoint NT Gent et Luk Perceval pour la création de Yellow, second volet de The Sorrows of Belgium. VALERY WARNOTTE (English) Valery Warnotte studied History of Art in Louvain in Belgium and Theater at the Ecole Florent in Paris and creates his own company, L’Intervention. With Olivier Coyette he created To See a Friend Cry in Atlanta (USA), which then toured in the United States and in France. He works regularly in the United States: The Sacrificing Actor, with Valere Novarina, ands Words to Animals, an adaptation of the author’s work in Arabic and English. He worked with The Trap Door Theater in Chicago on Me Too I’m Catherine Deveuve, by Pierre Notte, and Regarding the Just, created in the US, and then toured in France. He was co-director for the company Derezo on the projects Microfictions and Les Habitants, for which he was an Associate Artist at the National Stages Volcan & La Filature. For Derezo, as an actor, he has appeared in The Tempest, La Plus Petite Fete Foraine du Monde, and Alice de L’Autre Cote, staged by Charlie Windelschmidt. In 2020, he will appear as an actor in Yellow, the second part of the trilogy The Sorrows of Belgium with the director Luk Perceval at the National Theater of Gent in Belgium, NTGent.
