About Valon Imeri

I am a high-energy and team-oriented videographer, video editor, associate producer, and film director. I have filmed and led production in broadcast news media at the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network’s (BIRN) TV station in Kosova for episodes about government corruption, human rights, food safety, culture, and more. Episodes aired across Europe's Balkan region. I started my career conducting sound for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and filming for the United Nations Mission in Kosova. Independently, I have directed short documentaries, awareness campaign videos, and promotional videos for various high-profile clients. My first documentary,"A Family Divided: Kosovar Roma, Ashkali, & Egyptians," was featured in NPR. I work well under pressure and excel in telling stories. I have directed professional and non-professional talent, solved serious production problems, and used a wide array of video production, sound, and lighting equipment.
