About Valora Douglas

Motivated by the satisfaction that comes from building successful companies, divisions and teams, I bring my passion for all facets of business, not just one area. Perhaps this comes from being a dreamer and having an entrepreneurial mindset. I understand how the many facets of business are interrelated to create desired outcomes – from sales and marketing, to people and processes…and let’s not forget about the numbers. I appreciate the story within the numbers. I am inspired by words – whether spoken by great leaders, the amazing people that I mentor, new connections that I meet for a tea, or within the pages of the books I read. Through my experience in large and small companies, family-run to the solopreneur, I continue to work for and with wonderful people. I’m adamant that great companies are the result of great leadership and a charismatic team focused on end results, the customer experience and who find opportunities to laugh. My current journey is one which combines my business experience with health - healthy people, healthy cultures, healthy numbers. With this, I believe that balance can exist, it just takes focus and a little extra effort.
