About Van Huynh

Van Huynh is an experienced Technical Lead and Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex aviation and light rail transit (LRT) infrastructure projects across Canada. She brings strong leadership in airside and groundside design, construction oversight, and interdisciplinary coordination for both civilian and defense aviation. Van has a broad understanding of airport operations and TP312 standard developed through her experience in the aviation industry over the past year. Her contributions include serving as Lead Owner’s Advisor on complex airport infrastructure projects during the RFP stage and supporting military aviation developments. Van has successfully delivered projects under a range of delivery models, including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, Public-Private Partnership (P3), and Construction Management. Her expertise also extends to rail infrastructure, where she served as Civil Technical Discipline Lead on a major Edmonton LRT project, overseeing roadways, drainage, utilities, landscape, and duct banks. Additionally, Van has worked as a Transportation Project Manager in the rail and transit sector. Van holds a Master of Engineering in Transportation from the University of Alberta, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lakehead University, and a Civil Engineering Technology diploma from NAIT.
