About Vandana Vijayan

I am a Senior Test Specialist with extensive experience in quality assurance and testing, primarily in the Salesforce ecosystem. Currently employed at IBM in Bangalore, India since November 2022, I am actively involved in the DISH BSS Salesforce platform project. This project focuses on providing an unauthenticated experience for visitors to the Dish wireless web portal, leveraging Adobe sites on Adobe Experience Cloud, hosted on AWS. My responsibilities include ensuring the system of record for the latest Customer and Subscriber portfolios, developing APIs for querying portfolio information, and facilitating an easy-to-use interface for viewing portfolio data. I utilize Salesforce CRM and Rally for testing, participate in requirements walkthroughs, analyze functional requirements, log defects, and conduct cross-track/test data requirements analysis. Before joining IBM, I worked at Wipro Technologies from November 2015 to November 2022 as a Senior Project Engineer. During my tenure, I was involved in multiple projects, including the CISCO-SDP-BCS Offers Evolution project. This initiative aimed to integrate the FinancialForce PSA sandbox (Csone) with various Oracle modules to streamline processes related to projects, budgets, milestones, sales orders, and DCP content management. My role encompassed participating in requirements walkthroughs, understanding functional requirements, logging defects, analyzing cross-track/test data requirements, and collaborating with onsite and offshore manual testing teams. Additionally, I played a key role in hiring new team members, providing knowledge transfer, conducting smoke testing, and facilitating customer demos.
