About Vaneet Kumar

I am a Ph.D in Chemistry from NIT, Jalandhar, which is one of the most prestigious institutions of northern India. Having a passion towards teaching,I started my career as an Asst. Professor and Head (Division of Admissions) at CEM Kapurthala, Punjab, Indiafrom August, 2011 to May, 2013. I joined the CT Group of Institutions (CTGI) asan Assistant Professor cum Coordinator, Division of admission on 31st May,2013, then by the performance evaluation, I got promoted to Assistant Director-DOA in 2015, currently I am holding the charge of Professor(Chemistry) cum Additional Director (Division of Admission) at the CTGI from the year 2020. Along with academics, I contribute my potential in administration and admissions. I believe in team work and consistency. This is well reflected in my professional journey, as I had completed various academic assignments like HOD Applied Science, HOD Research & Innovation, Joint Director-Research & Innovation and Vice Principal-CT Institutions of Engineering, Management and Technology at CTGI. Under my supervision the admissions count of CTGI rose thrice. Being a true academician I am strongly focused on research and would like to share that I have 92 research papers in various SCI journals to my credit till date. I also have published 14 full length papers in various conference proceedings.There are 17 Patents, 01 consultancy projects in my credit. I have published one international book and 25 international book chapters. I have guided 05 Ph.D students till date. Presently I am guiding 06 more Ph.D students. I have presented nearly 60 research papers in various international/National conferences. I have delivered three invited talk at International conferences, Dedication, hard work and openness to learning always yields fruits of success in terms of rewards and reconciliation, I would like to share that I have been awarded with many fellowships namely:MHRD fellowship from 2006 to 2010, Himachal government annual fellowship in the year 2001 and 2002. I have won the best paper award two times: Delhi Technical University and Arni University. I have received Letter of Appreciation 3 times- Director NIT Jalandhar, Head department of Chemistry in 2010, Outstanding Faculty award on 20 October, 2014 out of 300 faculty members. I have actively participated in various extra co-curricular activities like - Conference Secretary, Convener, Organizing Secretary, Student Convener, Student Organizer/ coordinator, Chief Student advisor, Player of the tournament in badminton at NIT Jalandhar, and many other sports activity.
