About Vanessa Astran

As the Sales Support for KAESER Compressors, Inc. Southern Ca. and Denver territories, I have the awesome job of working with an eccentric team of Salesman who are very instrumental in my growth, and unapologetically in my surprising appreciation of compressed air in a box. Who knew that compressors are not only where all the magic happens, but also begins for the many services and products that we see in our world today. For the last 3 years, I have stepped up to the challenge of learning the overlapping layers and technical aspects of an industry that is brand new to my work experience. In addition, I have also strengthened my skills and processes in A/R, Invoicing, Purchasing, Logistics, Service, and Branch Operations. These additional qualifications are key in pursuing a new role as a Assistant Buyer in an industry that I am already familiar with. The Assistant Buyer role is where I see myself taking my career to the next level. I have a keen eye for trends and style, and the purchasing of products under budget is where I thrive. Working in the Fashion Industry as a Wholesale Manager for Kiyonna Clothing, Inc. from 2006-2009, it was vital that I assisted my clients in choosing products with a high turnover rate and that also fit their sometimes very small budget. My relationships with Kiyonna's boutique owners continued to flourish because they knew that they could depend on us to provide a great product line that was also affordable. I look forward to establishing new relationships with vendors now and the fashion community.
