Hello, this is Vanessa and welcome to my profile. My team and I help our Boehringer Ingelheim colleagues to communicate their messages with impact and emotion. How we do that? Quite simple We produce videos, podcasts and events. What’s my passion? I love people & technology. With my IT Management background, I had the chance to become a Change Manager early in my career, working as a bridge between business and IT. In 2023, I accepted the role of a leader. Since then, I am eager to learn and grow as a leader, and to support my team's success, as well as making a positive impact for Boehringer Ingelheim and the areas I can influence. Personally, I have a deep interest in Yoga 🧘‍ and Pilates. I've been dedicated to my Yoga practice for over a decade. It helps me to calm down and gives me some much-needed downtime, which I find very beneficial for my physical and mental well-being. Why I became a leader? I very much like to develop and empower people in discovering the niche where their talents are most beneficial. How did I come to understand this? I started my path guiding working students, interns, and new employees, progressed to a community lead and product owner role, and ultimately rose to a leadership position. I believe in the power of teamwork, guiding a group towards common goals while crafting efficient processes and frameworks that pave the way for our success. I'm continually eager to take on new challenges and expand my knowledge. In my view, leading a diverse group of people is the ultimate test because you have to deal with varying personalities and establish a culture of respect, open dialogue, and acceptance of mistakes. It's challenging because every day brings something unpredictable. I would love to chat with anyone who is interested in team development, leadership, lifelong learning & technology.
