About Vanessa Bell

My name is Vanessa Bell, a recent graduate from Medgar Evers College with an Associate degree in Nursing. I am currently completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the NYC College of Technology full time and hold a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting. I aspired since childhood to become a nurse; Why I love being a nurse? My joy is caring for my patients and their families while making a difference. I enjoy seeing a smile on their faces daily. Nursing allows me to impact my patients and the community positively. I am currently working in a long-term care facility as the charge Registered Nurse on an HIV/Dementia unit. My career goal is to become one of the best Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist; I want to take a step in furthering my education autonomy and responsibilities while fostering my interest in the field of Nursing Anesthesia. I am enrolled in the course NUR 4130 Professional Nursing Practice. I am currently employed at the Samuel Schulman Institute For Nursing and Rehabilitation at the Brookdale Hospital Center on the HIV/Dementia unit.
