About Vanessa Dodd

I’m a Learning & Development professional with 9 years of experience in the motor finance industry and a real passion for helping people grow. Over the past 7 years, I’ve built and led L&D strategies, leadership programmes, and engagement initiatives that have made a measurable impact on performance, culture, and career development. What drives me is seeing people unlock their potential. Whether it’s coaching future leaders, designing development programmes, or embedding a culture of continuous learning, I thrive on creating environments where individuals and teams can succeed. At CarFinance 247, I’ve had the opportunity to design and implement the company’s Training & Competence framework, build an award-winning apprenticeship programme, and lead a talented L&D team from the ground up. Alongside this, I’ve partnered closely with senior leaders to ensure that learning strategies don’t just tick boxes - they drive results.
