About Vanessa Hirt

Vanessa was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in the surrounding area. She graduated High School early–not because of any academic gifts, but rather via working the system and overloading on summer school classes. She was then off to the University of Dubuque for an associate degree in Aviation Administration, where that degree and $1 (at the time) earned her a ride on the bus. To finish up her education, she spent a short stint at the University of Arizona, taking Political Science and Economics. No degree, just those two classes. Landing jobs throughout the years in the travel industry until marriage, three kids, and a dog compelled her to stay home. Vanessa returned back to work later as an office manager for two vastly different companies until she retired in 2021. Today, she spends her time on various volunteer opportunities and working for the county during local, state, and federal elections. Her hobbies are cooking, and golf, and she has been asked–rather, begged–to please stop doing both.
