About Vanessa Jerrett

With a robust background in political strategy and campaign management, I have been actively engaged in the political arena for several years. As the former Vice Chair of the Onondaga County Republicans, I played a pivotal role in organizing and executing grassroots initiatives, fundraising events, and voter outreach programs. In this position, I collaborated closely with party members and local leaders to advance our shared vision and drive the organization’s mission forward. Building on this experience, I also served as the Regional Field Director for the New York Republican Party in Congressional District 22, where I oversaw comprehensive field operations, coordinated volunteer efforts, and developed strategic plans to optimize voter engagement. As I transition into pursuing a degree in Education, I am eager to apply the skills I developed in political strategy, leadership, and community engagement to my career in education. I am passionate about creating opportunities for learning and growth, and I believe my background in organizing and connecting with diverse communities will allow me to make a meaningful impact in the educational field.
