About Vanessa Kinch

I am an expert in clinical informatics. I utilize skills and knowledge in system development, usability, business process management and change management to achieve the goal of improving patient health outcomes leveraging clinical information systems. I lead an excellent team of Clinical Informatics & EMR Adoption Specialists who do system implementations, clinician support and optimization, requirements elicitation and system development. I have a passion for evidence based evaluations in order to measure outcomes and support organizational decisions. My key role is a senior clinical informatics strategist and subject matter expert that translates and prioritizes clinical requirements into the selection, design, build, maintenance and evaluation of clinical systems technolgy to enable patient and family-centred care across all areas of Northern Health.
