About Vanessa Luna

My name is Vanessa Luna, and I’ve been working at the University of Colorado for over 13 years in roles of administrative support and program management. I started as a temp in Housing & Dining doing data entry, then as the office manager in the CAPS and OVA offices, then Computer Science, and finally for the past 6 years worked on a team, building a successful online computer science degree program with a revenue of $1.1 million. I’m really passionate about relationship building. Not just for the sake of having a lot of connections, but because it’s an opportunity to learn and grow from another person. I’m a really enthusiastic person and love when I can try new things, and at the same time really enjoy the satisfaction of stepping back and seeing my accomplishments. Additionally, I have a personal dedication to DEI work, informed by my upbringing in an immigrant household. I’m looking for an opportunity where I can be a part of a team whose work is innovative and impactful. A position where I can use my skills like multitasking and problem solving, in an environment of people who are passionate about the work they do.
