About Vanessa Queiroz

I am an engineer with over 15 years of experience in engineering and process management within manufacturing and logistics industries. For the past 10 years, I have specialized in project management across Brazil and other Latin American countries, successfully delivering complex, high-value initiatives at companies such as Procter & Gamble, Dow Chemical, and currently, MRS Logística. I leverage the experience gained from these large organizations, drawing on lessons learned, best practices from PMBOK, and the FEL (Front-End Loading) process to deliver functional projects with efficient use of Capex and strong value for the client. Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my strong sense of collaboration and leadership, combined with deep technical knowledge, an essential combination for effective project management. I have led teams directly as a manager and influenced others indirectly in matrixed organizations. Currently, I work in the Project Management Office (PMO) at MRS Logística, a leading rail transport company in Brazil. I am responsible for ensuring best practices in project management for the implementation of rail signaling and infrastructure works, managing a project portfolio of around $ 1 billion. I am driven by the opportunity to contribute to the company's strategic projects and concession renewal efforts, while bringing diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. As part of the PMO, I have developed and implemented new project management processes from the ground up, including integrated change management and operational readiness. I have also led training programs on FEL methodology and other project-related processes. As a change agent, I supported the implementation teams in achieving project maturity at FEL 1, FEL 2 and FEL 3 for a portfolio of approximately $200 million and in delivering completed works within a $ 100 million project portfolio.
