About Vanessa Wasbin

Soon-to-be MSW graduate with clinical experience providing school-based therapy to adolescents, using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I bring a warm, trauma-informed approach rooted in somatic and mindfulness-based practices. My professional background spans work with diverse populations across the lifespan—including adopted and unaccompanied youth, as well as older adults in case management roles—highlighting my adaptability, cultural humility, and commitment to meeting clients where they are. As a 200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher and somatic practitioner, I value the integration of mindful, body-based modalities into the healing process. I’m especially interested in roles that support holistic, client-centered, and relational care.
