About Vanina Forget
Senior Agriculture economist, specialist in the evaluation of environmental, social and financial performance of public policy and business, I joined the Africa Sustainable Development Unit of the World Bank (Agriculture & Food Security Practice, SAEA3) in Sept. From 2016 to July 2019, I headed the Office of Evaluation and Economic Analysis of the Centre for Studies and Strategic Foresight of the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food. My team supported ex post and ex ante evaluations of public policies; conducted economic analysis; led studies and calls for research projects; and set up several events. From 2012 to 2016, as a Policy Officer in the Europe and international Department of the Ministry, I was spokesperson for France in OECD agricultural committees and also contributed to the trade policy. I graduated from AgroParisTech (France)(major in finance), hold a Master degree in environmental economics and a PhD in economics from the Ecole Polytechnique (France)(sustainable finance and corporate social responsibility).
