About Vanlan Choy

Staying curious, accepting challenges, focusing on goals and determination are my key attributes. I've applied those attributes at work and in my personal life. At work I'm curious and often ask myself,"What if I change 'A' to 'B'. Will it perform better?" If not, I'm willing to accept any 'losses'. I welcome challenging work. For example, I like doing an investigation on a new topic that hasn't been explored and setup a POC for demonstration of my findings at the end. When facing a setback in a project, I'm able to stay focused, with determination to overcome obstacles and achieve the end goal. I've applied those attributes in my personal life. I'm curious and explore the world. One of my favorite explorations is visiting a new ski resort each year, and getting to know the local culture. I also like snowboarding, the challenge of the slope and terrain on every mountain. When I fall and hurt myself, I get back up and finish my run.
