Warehouse professional with over 24 years of management in the food industry. My career began in Orlando, Florida as a Management Trainee, being cross trained in transportation, outbound and inbound warehousing with SYSCO Foods. Quickly rising to the position of "Day Supervisor" where we continued to be the best of the best in the corporation, earning "Best over-all distribution".My continuing success gave me an opportunity to accept a position at SYSCO Jackson in Mississippi as a Special Projects Manager and Inbound Manager. With our team, we provided support, supplies and guidance to ravage parts of south Mississippi and parts of Alabama during hurricane Katrina. In 2007, I saw an opportunity to come back to Arkansas with SYSCO and continue my success as an Operations Systems Manager where I provide support to the warehouse and transportation to maintain our opco as one of the top 25% performing OPCO's in our region.With continued success, I accepted a position as Food Safety Program Manager to help SYSCO continue to provide our customers with food products that are safe and wholesome, while continuing to be a valued asset to our customers. As the industry evolves, my coverage now includes Oklahoma and Arkansas, as SYSCO strives toward consistent food safety that our customers expect.
