About Varahi Prashant

I’m a junior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, studying Business Analytics with a Marketing concentration and a minor in the Heath Integrated Business and Engineering Program. This cohort combines engineering problem-solving with business strategy to create innovative solutions. I’ve always been someone who takes pride in responsibility and follow-through. As part of the Heath Integrated Business and Engineering 2027 Cohort, I’ve worked on cross-disciplinary projects that blend teamwork with analytical problem-solving. One standout experience was collaborating with Jewelry Television (JTV), where my team and I analyzed their fulfillment process and presented data-backed solutions to boost efficiency. I took the lead on parts of the analysis and presentation, which helped me grow both technically and as a communicator. Outside the classroom, I work as a Student Library Assistant at the Medbury Makerspace in John Hodges Library, where I help students and staff create a supportive space for creativity and hands-on learning—something that reflects my approach to leadership: reliable, thoughtful, and team-oriented. I’m passionate about combining business analytics and engineering to drive innovation and optimize performance across industries. My goal is to work at a technologically advanced company where I can bring that passion to life. I’ve always been a natural leader, and I thrive in collaborative environments where I can take initiative, contribute meaningfully, and grow alongside others. I'm especially excited by opportunities that allow me to lead projects and help teams push boundaries through data-driven solutions.
