About Varinder Brar

With over eight years of experience in the healthcare and military sectors, I am a dedicated and versatile professional who strives to improve the well-being and quality of life of diverse populations. As a Student at the University of Saskatchewan, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health, building on my previous education and expertise in Kinesiology.Throughout my career, I have developed and demonstrated core competencies in Project Management, First Nations and Metis wellbeing research, Customer Support, Medical Assisting, Communication, Technical Assistance, and Public Speaking. I have worked as a Clerk at Fraser Health Authority, where I supported the administrative and operational functions of various departments and programs, and as a Medical Assistant at the Department of National Defence, where I provided medical and technical assistance to military personnel and their families. My goal is to apply my skills and knowledge to address the health challenges and opportunities facing the communities I serve.
