About Varonica Campbell

After living with a host family and taking classes in Ciudad Real, Spain during high school, I knew I wanted to share that experience with others. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Spanish Education at Indiana University-Bloomington in the spring of 2005. I began my teaching career at Shelbyville High School in Indiana where I taught for three years. I strive to help my students develop an appreciation for other cultures while teaching them how to communicate in another language. In 2008, my husband and I moved to Ohio, and I taught Spanish I and II at Fairfield High School for two years. I graduated in 2011 with a Master of Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. Currently, I work at Winton Woods High School as a Spanish teacher in the Academy of Global Studies teaching Spanish and IV. In 2010, I began making cakes for weddings and birthdays. My growing passion is to create healthier treats for people to enjoy. In addition to cakes, I make cookies, granolas, and breads. Specialties: I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
