12+ years of experience in automotive industry - 9+ years of experience in aerodynamics, Front End Air Flow (FEAF), Air Induction System (AIS) and Under-body/Under-hood thermal simulations for passenger cars as well as performance cars- 3 years of experience in engine sub-system/components analysis- Performed 1D-3D coupled simulation for engine subsystems (coolant system, thermostat and vent system) and established a procedure- Expertise in “Design-driven” CFD simulations for automotive aerodynamics, cooling flow and engine sub-systems- Lead a team for simulation of "Performance Cars"(Camaro & Corvette) for 2.5 years- Played a major role in designing/optimizing grilles, baffles, seals, heat-exchangers and other Under-hood/Under-body components of various GM vehicles, especially for "Performance Cars", through CFD support- Designed and developed aero and FEAF enablers to improve fuel economy of passenger cars- Experienced (3 years) in supersonic flow simulations and have a decent understanding of flow-field comprising of complex shock structures- Tool/skills: Pre-processing & Meshing: GAMBIT, ANSA, HyperMesh & T-Grid CFD solver: FLUENT, GT-POWER, AMESim Post-processor: EnSight & Paraview
