Welcome! I am Varun – an energetic National Operations Manager who has extensive experience leading complex multi-site operations both domestically and internationally. I have taken full responsibility for delivering services across the group, including managing a multi-million-dollar P&L, leading strategic planning activities, directing procurement/supply chain functions, empowering teams, delivering WHS KPIs, and preparing reports. In addition to the operational aspect of my career, I have played a key role in identifying opportunities to reduce costs, build internal capability, and maximise the bottom line. The secret to delivering an efficient operation is acting as a role model and providing ongoing support in the implementation of services, policies, procedures, management systems, and special projects. I personally enjoy working collaboratively with the team to identify and address issues/opportunities while looking at how I can support each employee to build their capabilities and pave the path to achieving their career goals. Evidently, I have maintained a high employee retention rate within a high-turnover industry while creating an inclusive, engaging and enjoyable team environment.
