About Varvara Ivanova

During my work as a QA Engineer, I preferred testing mobile applications, especially for Android. I was always excited about investigating the issues and technical details of features' implementations of mobile applications. So I started to learn the Kotlin language and Android framework. As a hobby, I developed about 100 functional UI Autotests for the current project's Android application in Kotlin, using Espresso and UI Automator API. To continue my career as an Android developer, I wrote six mobile applications using Android Jetpack and several third-party libraries- Material Design for displaying UI components - View Binding, Data Binding for views' interactions - ViewModel for data manipulation and storage - Navigation Component for navigation between fragments - Glide, Picasso, and Coil libraries for loading and displaying images - Kotlin Coroutines, including Flow for asynchronous operations - WorkManager for scheduling background and foreground tasks - Retrofit, GSON for processing network requests and serialization/deserialization operations - Room for working with databases - RecyclerView, Paging 3 for displaying lists - Camera X to use camera features - ExoPlayer for creating simple video- and audio players These projects are available on GitHub: https://github.com/lacrima-velv Also, I’ve recently started to learn the new Jetpack Compose framework and I would appreciate using it in the near future.
