Vasil is a highly experienced web development veteran, boasting over 15 years of expertise and an impressive portfolio of projects for major corporate and private clients worldwide. His career has seen him excel as a lead developer, architect, and technical project manager, contributing to groundbreaking Drupal-based solutions across diverse sectors such as banking, healthcare, pharmacy, communications, information technology, and public institutions. Notably, his contributions extend to renowned organisations like the United Nations, World Health Organization, and European Investment Bank. With over 11 years of experience in leading large-scale web development teams, quality assurance engineers, and product managers, Vasil has honed his skills in employing agile methodologies. He excels in project management, employing a phased approach in collaboration with stakeholders and constantly striving for improvement at every stage. As a Co-Founder and Board member at Drupal Bulgaria Foundation, Vasil is a dedicated advocate for open-source software, particularly Drupal, in Bulgaria. His mission is to unite and empower the Bulgarian community of Drupal users and developers while fostering collaboration with international Drupal communities. He has also taken the initiative to organise and lead Drupal courses at Bulgaria's leading IT education institution, Software University Sofia. Most recently, Vasil assumed the role of Key Expert as a Webmaster/Web Developer for the fi-compass digital communications toolkit. In this capacity, he oversees day-to-day website functionality, maintains rigorous quality control standards, manages social media channels, and plays a pivotal role in proposing, developing, testing, and quality-controlling ongoing improvements to the website's functionality. Additionally, he monitors and evaluates online communication performance to ensure optimal results. Vasil's educational background includes a Master's degree in Business Informatics. He holds certification as a Drupal Developer and is recognised for his proficiency in Agile Software Development.
