About Vasko Kramer
Since I first got into radiopharmaceutical science over 10 years ago, I was fascinated by the interdisciplinary nature of the field and the multitude of possible, clinical applications for diagnosis and therapy. As PhD student at the university I learned how to develop and evaluate new radiopharmaceuticals for PET neuroimaging. As head of R&D at Positronpharma and Positronmed, I was given the opportunity to apply this knowledge during the clinical translation of several new radiopharmaceuticals. Like many, I had close family members who were diagnosed with neurodegenerative diseases and cancer and today I am very grateful to be able to work every day on improving our current technologies and how we diagnose and treat those diseases.
