Hey, I’m Vatsa Kala — an Electronics and Communication Engineer turned Data Enthusiast, passionate about solving complex challenges with data, AI, and system design. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Management Information Systems at Texas A&M University, where I focus on data engineering, advanced analytics, and intelligent system design. Previously, I earned my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Pandit Deendayal Energy University. Along the way, I’ve gained hands-on industry and research experience: Migrating 4PB of trading data to PostgreSQL and Snowflake on AWS at Trading Technologies, building scalable APIs and modernizing data platforms. Driving a 20% boost in model performance and 15% higher predictive accuracy in biomedical research using GNNs and LLMs at Texas A&M. Publishing explainable AI research on dorsal vein biometrics (Springer), achieving 95%+ validation accuracy. Delivering data pipelines, dashboards, and predictive models that cut preprocessing time by 30% and improved business insights by 30–50%.
