About Ved Patel

I'm a second year Computer Engineering student at the University of Rhode Island. My academic interests lie in the intersection of hardware and software development, particularly in their applications to the cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and biomedical fields. In parallel, my personal interests focus on consumer electronics and innovative technology, such as smartphones, cameras, laptops, and vehicles. During my time pursuing these interests, I've gained knowledge across various technological niches. I've delved into mobile graphics and processing in smartphones, advancements in display technologies for tablets, laptops, and foldable devices, and innovations in photo-capture involving sensor size and color science. Recently, I've also begun following advancements in the electric vehicle industry and other related technologies. My goal is to transform these interests into applicable skills by pursuing research in academia and gaining internship experience to work toward my dream career.
