About Veda October

I am a woman of colour, working in the world of Tech. Dedicated, committed, and loyal, I bring 18 months of hands-on experience as a Quality Assurance Test Analyst, ensuring software quality and functionality. Having graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology from Eduvos, I possess experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies. Proficient in identifying defects and ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle, I excel in test planning, execution, and reporting, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products. Collaborating closely with the developer community with whom I work, I actively contribute to driving continuous improvement and project success. Well-versed in the agile methodology, I utilise Test Cafe for testing purposes. I continuously sharpen my skills through courses on Udemy and free courses on LinkedIn. Proudly affiliated with IITPSA, I actively engage in outreach efforts to educate learners about opportunities in the ICT sector. With a strong academic foundation, I am eager to advance my career as an Automation Engineer or Quality Engineer, while remaining open to opportunities in Business Intelligence or Product Management.
