About Vedanth Dinesh

Hello! I'm Vedanth, a senior at Purdue University, triple majoring in Mathematics, Statistics and Economics. My passion for understanding how data drives decision-making has guided me through an exciting academic journey, blending data analysis with economic theory. Recently, I completed an internship at NITI Aayog, where I conducted research on tax compliance and analyzed the economic relationship between India and Vietnam. This experience gave me valuable insights into policy-making and international economics. At Purdue, I’ve had the privilege of working with the Daniels School of Business as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Purdue University Research Center for Economics (PURCE), where I gained hands-on experience in economic research. I also served as a Teaching Assistant for ECON 251, an introductory microeconomics course, during the 2023-2024 academic year. Additionally, as a member of The Data Mine Learning Community, I engaged in data-driven projects, including competitor analysis and statistical testing. Beyond academics, I’m actively involved with Consult Your Community—Purdue Chapter, where I currently serve as Vice President of Recruitment after previously holding the role of Project Marketing Manager. These experiences have strengthened my leadership and project management skills while fostering my passion for business consulting and community engagement. I’m committed to continuous learning and growth, having completed externships through Extern and the Daniels School of Business, where I gained insights into Market Research, Venture Capital, and Corporate Strategy. Additionally, I’ve enhanced my expertise by earning certifications in various disciplines through Coursera.
