About Vedanth Ravi

I’m an SAP Certified ABAP Back-End Developer and Generative AI Developer with 14 years of experience delivering enterprise solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.Currently based in Manchester (UK), I work as a SAP Technical Lead and Onsite Coordinator at IBM, supporting SAP service delivery for a global consumer brand. I lead a multidisciplinary team of ABAP Developers, CPI Consultants, SAP ByDesign Developers and Data Migration Consultants, ensuring smooth AMS operations — resolving incidents, managing service requests, and delivering small enhancements that keep core business processes running. My technical expertise spans RICEF objects, Workflows, OData Services, CDS Views, and ABAP Development Tools (ADT). I specialise in translating complex functional requirements into high-quality SAP solutions across SD, MM, FICO, and HCM modules.I am also responsible for driving automation and innovation in SAP delivery using Generative AI. I have designed and built 15+ AI assistants across IBM Consulting Assistants (ICA), Microsoft Copilot, and Rovo Chat, improving delivery efficiency, compliance, and turnaround times.I enjoy mentoring teams and working closely with client stakeholders — hosting ideation sessions, developing use cases, and presenting how SAP and Generative AI together can improve business performance and user experience. In short, I combine SAP delivery experience with practical GenAI adoption to modernise how enterprise support teams work.
