Ph. D from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University and a Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) Dissertation Title: Transitioning Young Adults with Autism: Hopes and Challenges for parents. I am a Social Work Care Manager at Integra MLTC and on weekend work as a Mental Health Therapist at the Child Center of New York. I run my own consultancy, Resolveera that is created to help parents and care givers of children with developmental disabilities, especially Autism. Given the current need for services related to COVID-19, Resolveera is also involved in COVID-19 test and vaccination outreach and services for the underserved community members. I worked as a ABA therapist for a year after quitting my position as the Director of Family Support & Education at a non-profit. I have experience in supervision and development of programs and their continuity. I have mostly focused on issues concerning emotional and mental health and tried to bridge the gap between the client and the services. I carry a 20 years of professional experience with me. I have done case planning for parents mandated by Administration for Children Services- NYC focusing on parenting skills training and non-clinical counseling to parents for 3 years. I supervised the training of case planner and case aides to work with families with cultural and linguistic competence. I started working in this organization as a Program Manager in 2008 focusing on supportive services including, health care access, education and senior services. I have been a Special Educator in the Indian Institute for Cerebral Palsy, Kolkata, India for 3 years. I worked private as a Special Educator Consultant for 2 years in Kolkata, India.
