Greetings all, My name is Velora Thomas and I am from Montgomery, Alabama. I am a God-fearing, passionate Christian woman who is highly ambitious and enthusiastic about helping those in need. I possess the desire and ability by Gods grace to work as part of a team as well as independently. I bring over 9 years of hands-on experience in providing Recreational and Vocational Rehabilitative services to Veterans with dual diagnoses. I am currently employed as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with the Evidence Based Supported Employment program at the Michael E. Debakey VA hospital in Houston, Texas. My ultimate career goal is to one day have my own counseling practice offering several different types of counseling!
