About Velvikram Sekar

As CEO and Construction Manager at Vel Amrith Infratech Pvt Ltd, I lead a team committed to transforming how construction projects are planned, delivered, and experienced. My vision is simple: bring precision, efficiency, and value engineering to every build — whether it's a commercial retail space or a large-scale residential development. My journey has been shaped by a blend of technical depth and real-world execution. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Anna University and a Master's in Construction Management from New York University laid the foundation. Roles across the industry sharpened it, from designing architectural and MEP layouts at Sim Arabia Co. Ltd, to supervising five buildings within a 50+ residential development at Jansen Infrastructure, to managing citywide projects with the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and most recently serving as Assistant Project Manager at Zoria Construction NY, Inc, where I supported commercial and residential builds across New York through site inspections, document review, quantity take-offs, and project billing.Today, I'm channeling that experience into building Vel Amrith Infratech into a company known for delivering projects that are safer, smarter, and more cost-efficient than the industry standard. I'm OSHA 30-certified, fluent in AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, and Procore, and a firm believer that great construction management is equal parts engineering rigor and creative problem-solving.What's next: expanding Vel Amrith's footprint across the Middle East and forging partnerships with developers, consultants, and suppliers who share our commitment to quality and innovation. If you're building something ambitious or want to, let's connect.
