Background
About Vendula Belackova
I am an inter-disciplinary researcher in the area of (illicit) drug use and policy. My work has involved qualitative and quantitative studies, and has been centered around cannabis use, emerging substances, injecting drug use, and criminalised populations. I have maintained productive relationships with stakeholders accross various sectors and coordinated a small research team as well as larger project consortiums. I have worked in Australia, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Spain, and in the United States and have been involved in several projects that spanned across multiple European countries. In my work, I strive for policies being based on evidence, on respect to human rights, and on harm reduction principles.
