Background
About Venkatakrishnan Ranganathan
I am a research assistant at the Institute for Policy Research at Northwestern University, where I use machine learning to uncover valuable insights from U.S. case law documents and Tribal Constitutions. I am currently engaged in identifying disparities in California court cases as outlined by the Racial Justice Act. I have a master's degree in artificial intelligence and 12+ years of experience as a cloud and solutions architect, delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. I have a passion for natural language processing (NLP) and its applications in healthcare, law, and journalism, and I am eager to apply my expertise to drive innovation in these critical domains. I possess a strong technical background in deep learning, data science and AWS.
