About Venkatesh Srinivasan

I have diverse work experience post a PGDM from IIM Bangalore - Batch of 2000. In my last assignment I was GM and 1st employee of TENVIC - a company co-founded by Anil Kumble Diinesh Kumble and Vasanth Bharadwaj a sports education and consulting company targeted at corporates and sportspeople. Prior to this I headed sales at ABOVE - an exciting start-up operating in the sales outsourcing technology consulting and IP-led services spaces. ABOVE's technology focus areas were Collaboration Location Commerce and Cloud Computing. In a previous assignment I was Head of Sales for a wireless start-up called Peek and drove the sales and distribution strategy and set-up there. From 2005-2009 I worked at Sasken - a telecom focused solutions company transitioning from a Business Development / Marketing role to Investor Relations and finally to front-end Sales. I gained a 360-degree view of strategy and operations in the telecom and IT space spanning the networks semiconductors handsets and service providers sectors. My last role was independent charge as sales head of the fastest growing portfolio - network engineering and technical support services. In 2002 I moved to a quasi-entrepreneurial stint where I set up and ran the Bangalore office of imagequity+. A company involved in HR Communications and Vision Strategy (collectively Reputation Management) consulting. In this stint I delivered on multiple fronts like business development resources and cost management and operations. I began in 2000 in FMCG Sales and Marketing with Pepsico where I was in-charge of key account management execution of central marketing plans and localized channel development and marketing efforts. Quizzing sports reading and movies are the other interest areas that I devote time to. I regularly conduct and participate in a number of quizzes. Have co-founded Nexus Consulting - an organisation aimed at creating intelligent engagements with a philosophy of "Fun and Fundas"
