About Vera Froman
During my career as a graduate student I have focused my studies on the physical and mental health and wellbeing of military personnel. This has included conducting a cross-sectional survey study regarding the occurrence of suicide among both active and non-active service members; inquiries into the positive consequences of felt unit cohesion; and my master’s thesis has focused on persuading proper use of prescription medication among both active and non-active service personnel. Additionally, my time at Claremont Graduate University has required me to become familiar with appropriate research and statistical procedures. This has given me the opportunity to develop a survey, administer it, and analyze the data; I have conducted a phenomenological qualitative analysis, and provided a suggested program evaluation procedure report to a local Southern California program.
