About Vera Hagleitner

As a SAFe certified Product Manager at John Lewis, one of the UK's biggest retailers, I am responsible for delivering user-centric and data-driven solutions that enhance the digital experience for insurance customers. I work with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and editors to define and prioritize the product backlog, create user stories and acceptance criteria, and conduct user testing and feedback sessions. I have a strong background in user experience (UX) and human-computer interaction (HCI), with a MSc degree from City, University of London and a UX design certificate from General Assembly. I have applied my skills and knowledge to various domains and industries, such as financial services, telco, and insurance, where I have improved customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty by optimising web and mobile interfaces, customer journeys, and service designs. I am also proficient in Figma, a collaborative design tool that I use to create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups. I am passionate about learning new things and exploring different perspectives, which is why I enjoy working in diverse and dynamic environments. I am fluent in English, German, and French, and have a keen interest in art, the environment, and new technologies. I believe that continuous improvement is the key to personal and professional growth, and I always seek feedback and opportunities to enhance my skills and competencies.
